Emmanuele,
I did use the drift align method described here,

I only drift aligned for around 6-7 minutes instead of the 15 recommended in
the article. Normally I will go a little longer, but this seemed adequate
for my test. I am not sure of the sensitivity of the ST4 regarding polar
alignment, others may comment here, but I know I have gotten A0's and A1's
with some very pretty field rotation on the corners. <g>
