Thanks to all of you.  I'm happy that you like the picture.

In response to Robert and Jim, I uploaded a higher resolution version.  
Again, the website is

Click at the "thumbnail", it will zoom in.  I cut the high resolution
one into 12 pieces otherwise the full jpeg image will take >10MB.

The original slides were scanned by EPSON 1640SU at 1600 dpi.
The final mosaic I made was downsized (in Registar) to about 1300dpi.
I do hope to make a full resolution one but it will exceed the 
limit of my computer (with 1GB RAM "only").  The one you see now was
downsized again to about 1100 dpi.  However, the 1100 dpi version
should not be very different from the 1300 dpi one, in terms of 
details.  

It's also my first time to see this picture so closely, when I
prepare this webpage.  There are so many details (both good and bad) 
that I didn't pay attention to, when I was making the mosaic. 
I will do some fine tuning later.
