A correction to Axel's statement below: In fact, RegiStar was specifically
designed with multi-image mosaicking in mind and does not only register two
images at a time. Image *groups* are the key here; if image B is registered
to image A to produce image B_reg and then image C is registered to the
group containing images A and B_reg, then the produced image C_reg will be
registered not only to image A but also B_reg, the registered version of
image B. Etcetera.
