[APML] The Seven Sisters - a new deep-sky image!

Hi all -

Finally, a new deep-sky image. Its been a while. :-)

I completed this image of M45 during the last week of December. I had a
really clear night and managed to crank off four 50-minute exposures on
Provia 400F, pushed +1. Getting the high S/N with a four image stack was a
must in my mag 6.2 skies to try and bring out the fainter nebulosity that
fills the region.

The data really needed to be dug/caressed out, and in doing so, the original
super smooth raw blended image needed a touch of SGBNR at the very end.
I was pleased to discover that I recorded the fainter reddish/magenta
nebulosity that mixes in with the Merope Nebula.

Comments always welcome.
