Re: [APML] Light Pillars, (forecasting)

Hi Jure,

Thanks for the links.
Im finding myself trying to forecast these events now
being the weather enthusiate that I am.

This is very interesting stuff here!
Ive been watching this one site imparticular of
graphical temperature forecasts for long term.
This information also seems to go along with the clear
sky clock.
Not only is there a cloud cover graphic, but
temperature changes as well.

I wish I would have copied the image of the temps
around here to add as information on my site to see
the temperature contrasts.
As I mentioned to someone else...so many projects,
such little time.

Heres the link to a very useful forecasting tool for
those in the states and only graphically in canada:

http://www.videoweather.com/

Ive found this to go quite well with the noaa, and
clear sky clock websites.
I also have a program called swiftwx that was intended
for monitoring severe thunderstorms with gps tracking
abilities.
This program gives me information on how high cloud
tops reach, temperature change, and whats happening
where and when and thats just the tip of the iceburg.

Do you know of any websites that predict this sort of
phenomena?
I mean we have one for aurora, meteors, but I havent
seen any like this around and there are alot of people
that go after these events.

Brian
