Hi Brian,
The image was taken by Pentax 67 and a 90mm/F2.8 lens at F3.5.
The film is E100S (push 1) and the exposure is 80min. It was
taken on Mauna Kea, with excellent sky transparency.
The image I shown is only part of the fov of the 90mm lens.
I took nine images around Orion, with identical setups and
under similar weather. I plan to make a mosaic of winter
constellations, similar to the one by Axel Mellinger, but
deeper and with higher resolution.
The post-processing is only half done and so far, is not very
satisfying. Unlike other prime-focus mosaics I took before,
this one has many problems to solve. I'm not sure when I can
finish this.
Cheers,
Wei-Hao
