I am not satisfied enough with the SCT at that focal ratio. Next time I will try M81 and M51 at f/10 to maximise resolution.
I have not seen any video of the meteorite, but I have heard it was like a large fire ball that broke into several pieces. Here, in the north of Spain, the sight was not as impressive as in the middle.

Dang!   Nice work David.  I hope to hit that level of quality in my adventures in TP.  Rosette is great as is the Horsehead and M51 has some good detail in the dust lanes.   Keep up te good work.

 I saw a video clip of the big meteor in northwest Spain.  Holy smokes!
