Re: [APML] A strange ST-4 behavior



I had a similiar behaviour of the ST4 once when the battery driving the
ST4 AND a Kendrick dew remover was rather low.
The (regulated) dew remover is alternately switched off and on by the
control box to keep a certain temperature.
On the other hand the ST4 is very critical with the voltage:
it needs at least 12 volts, 11.7 is not enough.
Now each time the dew remover was switched on, the
voltage dropped slightly below 12 volts, so the ST4 stopped
working, showing 0 0 0 . Some ten seconds later,
the dew remover was turned off, the voltage jumped to above
12 volts and the ST4 continued working.
And so on....

Since that night my ST4 has a battery of it's own.
