[APML] Thanks for ISS input



A big thanks to those who sent me notes about ISS astrophotography.

What I meant about the "mother of all lens sahdes" was indeed a full window
covering for the camera to peek through.  Many of you suggested such an
item, but I wasn't clear about what I meant.

And thanks for the EOS to Nikon lens adapter leads.  There seems to be two
different ones out there.  In the near term for planning purposes, this is
good.  And the D2H that Jerry gets to play with looks promising as well and
it is Nikon from the ground up which what they preffer.

Of course, we realize that in the next two years, much better stuff may pop
up and we will drift toward that.  But in the meanwhile, the how of
astrophotography from the ISS has to be planned with today equipment.  And
this whole project is a personal affair for Don, it is not an official ISS
experiment, so the equipment taken up may well have to be his own, not
NASA's.  This will interesting....
