[APML] OT: Christmas Light Photos

Sorry for the OT post, but after the rash of excellent fall pictures I
just had to ask if anyone has developed a system for shooting Christmas
lights decorating houses.  I tried some last week on the end of an Elite
Chrome 200 roll and found the color way to yellow (4 sec, f8) this past
week I finished my Provia 400 roll with some more at the same exposure
but used an 80A filter. Still too yellow for my tastes.  Would an 80C
filter be better since the smaller lights apparently run have a lower
temp?

A little more on topic, how can I correct the low temp, tungsten color
shift in Photo Shop?  

Off list responses would be more appropriate.
