Greg,
I'm no expert on monitors but my expereinece using both is that
the LCD's lack the dynamic range of topnotch CRTs. That said
there are very high end LCD's like the Apple cinema display that
I've heard surpass even the best CRT's. The bottom line is that yes
there are LCD's out there which top the best CRT's but the cost
is very high...maybe $2000.
