Rob,
Do you feel that a high-end LCD screen is superior to a comparable CRT for
photographic work? I've seen a few LCD screens at work and was immediately
impressed with the image. I guess the main issues to address are resolution
(probably mostly a function of cost) and accurate color reproduction.
