Fabulous mosaic. I cannot see the seams on my CRT either but
I know what you mean about LCD screens. Because of their
uniform brightness they pick up any flaw in an image. Thats why
I like processing with an LCD. If you can correct all visible flaws
on an LCD they will certainly not be visible on a CRT.
For the seams there are many ways to make them imperceptable.
Sometimes its not contrast or brightness differences but could be
color tones. You can use "selective color" or "saturation" and alter
the subtle tonal differences between the frames which may make them
blend better. You can even "add" noise to an image to match an adjacent
frame. I often only apply these functions to the area at the edge and
not the entire frame as the eye will only notice the transition at the
seams. This can be done with the lasso and feather functions.
