[APML] PS Profile Mismatch

Hi all,

It was suggested to me off list that all (scanner and PS color
preferences) color settings should be set to: Adobe RGB 1998. All of my
scans to this point were scanned with "sRGB". Now that I'm opening
these with different settings (Adobe 1998) in PS, I am given the
"Profile Mismatch" dialogue box. I have the following questions:

1. Is there any harm done by going through with the conversion from
sRGB to Adobe RGB?

2. Other options in the dialogue box and the current settings are:
Engine: built in
Intent: Perceptual (Images)
Are these OK?

3. Should the box for "Black Point Compensation" be checked?
