See what happens. You write a routine and then there's twenty questions.
Copied the action into the action folder and loaded the action into PS7.
How do I start and run it?

Bert, its easy, in the actions pallete, there is a small arrow on the upper
right.  Click it, and a menu will pop up.  Hit Load Actions.

Hi Chris:
I downloaded your "Teststrip" and put it into the PS 7/Presets/Photoshop
Actions directory, but it is not on the Actions menu. I don't see anything
in PS Help about installing an action. What do I have to do?
