Wow! that's a most stunning display of Tech Pan resolution. The
focus of the BRC must have been perfect. Both Rob's and your shot were taken
with 12.5" F/7 systems so it makes a good comparison. It looks like the Tech
Pan equivalent resolution is quite a bit better than
24um/pixel.
One can just imagine the resolution attained by Malin with his
14x14" Schmidt camera plates and Tech Pan. His images are printed on "coffee
table" books. There is probably almost no enlargement. These shots could
probably be enlarged to fill a wall without loss of
resolution.
