Rob and Bobby, great images. Rob's almost looks
transparent.
Here's where a 1260mm F7 scope helps.
This is a five stack on PPF, so exposure time was 200 minutes vs. Bobby's 20
hours . Can't tell how much time Rob has invested in his?

Mosaic
Great work Rob! The RC does well on those
CCD mosaics as you have already shown. Here's my film version ten-frame mosaic
also with a 12.5" scope:
(it's a big file)

Hi all,
I've completed a new mosaic project of the Rosette Nebula.
The image is a 9 frame mosaic taken with the 12.5" RC at F7.
Remember to view the larger image and the cropped high res
Enjoy
