You wouldn't think so. I have to assume that they expect everyone to
shoot, and procees their film before the expiration date arrives. I do
know that when film arrives from Adorama there is usually some
statement proclaiming proudly that "This film has been chilled at 55
degees". 

That makes me wonder (because my fridge is probably close to 40
degrees) what the differences may be between storage at say 35, and 55
degrees. That's a pretty good difference.
