[APML] Saving in PWP and PS

Discussion a couple weeks ago indicated that when working in PS, files
should be saved as PSDs. To this point I have saved as a TIFF (I have
not done any processing since mid-Dec.). Today I want to composite some
M42s in PW, and then (once I find out why PS has gone crazy in red)
take those into PS for curves, etc...

Now, should files in PW be saved as TIFFs, or something else? Once in
PS, should all files be saved as PSDs until ready for output? At what
point should I convert to PSD?
