Re: [APML] A newbie's thoughts: CCD vs. Film

I suppose that sums up - exceedingly eloquently, I
might add - why one would want so much to walk through
the fires of ap, though all around him are calling him
back to the realm of sanity.

In my own case it is the pursuit of the art, the study
of this craft, the simple desire to work at something
which in the end will yield such majestic beauty as
has not been seen by most in their poor lifetimes...

(Upon re-reading the last paragraph, it sounds even to
me to be a bit pompous and overblown. But the fact
is: it is the truth and I would not retract a word.)

I know that whether or not I succeed, the goal alone
is worthy.

Thank your for your poetic reminder of why I study so
many hours a subject which is at least as difficult to
grasp as the most challenging of my college courses -
And, costs as much as a couple of semesters at a good
university!
