Yes, But... I find that the multi-scan option really does work well, but, I
also find that if I turn on both multi-scan and 16bit linear option at the
same time, the software blows up when it tries to save. Please try it and
tell me if you have the same problem. Use at least 4 passes... I use 16x
multi-scan (I think that the Multi Scan III may be limited to 8 passes) and
then I go to bed, the scans sometimes take longer then the exposures. If you
have lots and lots of time but want the ultimate in scans, get Vuescan and
use the "Long Exposure Pass" option along with 16x passes.
