Hello,

I have this lens... it is not the auto focus model... it is very highly rated by all the rating gurus ... it can work wide open but there is a mild hot spot wide open... at f/4 it is about as good as it gets. All the manual focus 180mm f/2.8 ED lenses got high marks.
