[APML] Noise reduction: SGBNR new version / test results

Hi all,

We have just uploaded SGBNR version 1.0.1.18 beta to our website. As I
posted before, SGBNR is our new noise reduction software. You can
download it at:

This new version has some new features, a better documentation, and lots
of bugs fixed. We have got the valuable help of some APML folks. See the
Credits/Acknowledgements documentation section for details.

We have also uploaded a new test processing result. It is a LRGB of M51
taken at the Tenagra II by Michael Schwartz and James Wray. This scope is
an 80-cm f/7 Ritchey Chretien by SciTech Astronomical Research, recently
installed at the Tenagra Observatories. Our friend Vicent Peris has used
SGBNR to process this short-exposure CCD image with quite good results.
