I'm reposting this since I got next to no feedback
the last try. I know they are still on the newbie side for this list but I
alway appreciate the comments/suggestions.
Tried the hypered LE400 finally that Warren
provided some of us (thanks Warren!!) and these 2 (M42 and NGC1977) turned out
ok. I like the color balance the hypering provided. Obviously need
multiple images to stack for the grain and a mask for M42 and I think NGC1977
could've gone longer than 60 min. M42s too big for the FOV I had as
well. I'm sure I'll redo. Tracking was so so on the ST-4 as
well. Still learning... Also, I moved over to Earthlink DSL and set
my web site up there. Let me know if there's any trouble with the
