[APML] People the APML has lost
If you look in the APML archives, you'll see names of people who used to
post on the APML but don't post here now. If you look on the SBIG list,
you'll see these people posting:
* John Gleason
* Steve Mandel
* Chris Schur
* Wil Milan
* Mike Barber
* Pete Mumbower
* Volker Wendel
Can you think of others I have missed?
I can think of at least ten other good folk who still post on the APML
somewhat, but who may be at risk for leaving the APML becuase of their
increasing interest in CCD.
You can say that it was/is time for them to move on, because the APML is
a film-only list. What we lose in the process are their viewpoints
about what it was like adjusting to CCD from a film background, how the
media compare, what more they had to learn, etc. They don't post film
related comments on the CCD lists, because few there care about film.
So the information for the most part is simply not posted.
The APML is not just about film. It's about people, sharing insights.
