Rick,

I'll be willing to bet that a large number of the images you get
from people who embedded ICC profiles in those images have no idea
that that feature is turned on. :-)

I get images from sources other than APML with embedded ICC profiles
and I know these people well enough to realize it was an accident.

I have my Mac set up to allow enabling of profiles or not when an image
loads in Photoshop and it's interesting to make a comparison.
