I just installed some more memory last week.  256->512.  PS is handling
my images much better now!  If anyone's considering loading up on memory,
now's the time.  Check out http://www.crucial.com  Prices are super low.
My 256 chip ran me $62.  They even ship 2 day fedex free of charge.
