       Would it be such a bad idea to create a petition of sorts for
submission to Kodak (etc.) marketing departments? Perhaps we could collect
e-signatures of all list members, our photo friends and aquaintances who
don't necessarily contribute, and contact other practitioners
internationally through our net links. Maybe proof of several hundred,
regular purchasers and some guesstimation of our modest but measurable and
reliable expenditures might earn us a little recognition. It might give us
an opportunity to speak as a voice and help protect our favorite films.

I'm a pretty good writer and editor and might be willing to take on the
project if there's interest. If someone out there already has a relationship
with someone at Kodak, send them some 'pretty pictures' of our best work and
point out the impressive number of links to astrophoto sites!
