Hi all,

When I first subscribed to this list in the early half of the year 2000, I
came in green as the greenest grass grows.
Through that time up till now, Ive learned many things through the many
people of this community and I would like to express my gratitude to all of
you who have helped me to grow in my interest.

Enough cant be said about the great resource we have in each other here
whether it be ccd knowledge or film, we all share the same interest which is
to learn how to make great images and friends.

With that said, about a week ago, Scientific American magazine contacted me
and asked if they could use one of my pictures to display in theyre March
issue.
They are doing a segment on what appears to be meteor catastrophic events
and something about the bright night sky...very vague but Im just wondering
which article my pic is going to be in since it is a picture of a leonid and
startrails.

Anyways, they are paying $250.00 for a 3 x 6 display
Finally some payoff to all that effort!

This could lead to another conversation of how much your efforts are worth
but seems last time it got kinda heated eh'?

So I just wanted to say thank you all for your great support through these
short two years that Ive been here and it can only get better

Good fortune,
Brian
