[APML] POSITIVE/NEGATIVE PROJECTION IN PLANETARY ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY

Hi,

I would like to ask all the expert outside there, if i use  positive/ negative 
projection with my 8" f/4 newtonian telescope to catch some of the planetary 
photos,is it possible? Which method is the best worth? Also how many seconds 
should i use? and where can i get all this valuable information???

I hope you all can teach me or give me some opinion in my first timer.
