I was at TSP in 1995 and could not believe the dust(RTMC is the same way).
I guess if you have an air tight cover for your equipment it would be ok.
The cars are not a problem at night that I can remember since everyone is
observing and almost all stay the night. It's the day that's a
killer....throw in wind and t-storms to boot!............but when it is
clear and calm......what a sky......unreal! The view of the summer Milky
Way I had one night is still etched in my memory and will be for a long long
time......it cast a shadow!!!
