RE: Trapezium was Re: [APML] Tech Pan - the facts??? - star sizes



I would love to see this image.  I can't seem to get it to load into Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape 4.06.  Are these browsers too old or something?

Thank you for the compliment. The colors are probably not optimum as others have commented. This is a work in process and will continue to be tweaked. The image was obtained in 2x2 binning, but will probably be reshot next clear skies at 1x1 binning. The goal will be to fully resove h as a double (mag 16, 0.8 arc sec separation). Also, I want to get better resolution on the Bock globules and see if I can resolve the tails better.

It's hard to imagine obtaining finer detail than this. Fantastic image.  When this is done, you should consider selling 16x20 prints.
