But slow by itself is not a problem. You just expose for longer. It is
reciprocity failure that can be a real problem, because after some
period of time, film can virtually stop responding. However, it has
been my impression that slide films like 400F (and E200) have relatively
little reciprocity failure, and hypering does not help.
Don't you think that, at midrange focal ratios (i.e. f/7), 400F will
record as much (across the board) in 90 minutes as any unhypered 400
speed print film (e.g. RG400)?
Also, 400F (and E200) can be push processed.
