Hi KDK:
First thing to do is take another shot with a 10 or 15 minutes exposure to
get some detail in the Trapezium area and then layer it with this shot so
that the new shot masks the burned out area in this one. You can get a
little more contrast out of the nebulosity in this one by selecting the
non-Trap area and applying Curves cautiously.
