Re: [APML] (OT) Asteroid collides with M104? <g>

Ok Marco.....good work..thanks....this still has me a little bemused, though,
below is a mouse over I did to my shot and the Megastar chart. I imported into
Megastar the 35,000 asteroid database (that is why I didn't find it earlier, I
only had the 11,000 size database loaded) and it had 1997 GX27 with the same
positional timeframes as yours.

I figure one of three things going on here. I have 4 rolls that were devloped in
March 1997...all have the dated receipts in the envelopes, the one with this
shot is dated March 11 with lab id# 4982, . I have another roll with a previous
lab# sequence number 4841 dated March 3rd. So this makes sense. That is why I
surmised the pic was taken between March 3 and 11th. Since this roll also has
Hale-Bopp pics on it, it seemed unlikely I held onto it for more then a couple
of days after shooting the pics. I was shooting a lot of film during this time.
So this is why I am still confused...January 26th timeframe seems way out of
whack.

Possibilites?
1. I had this roll sitting around for the month and a half...seems unlikely for
my personality to get rolls developed right away.
2. The emphmeris for 1997 GX27 is wrong....hmmmmm
3. I discovered a new asteroid with similar orbital path as GX27....big hmmmmm.

Any thoughts?
m.
