Hey Craig,
Do you know the reason for that? This is a mistake
prone hobby, a lot like golf. The object is to
minimize mistakes as much as possible. Those who can
do that most often usually get good results. The ones
who can learn from the goof ups also do well and are
usually more than happy to share their good fortune
with others. If you're willing to learn from our
mistakes, and yours too, you will probably do ok. On
the other hand, if you give up or get frustrated
easily, you might end up collecting rocks or stamps.
So learn, and above all else; don't be afraid of
screw-ups. You can learn more from a single, hands on
screw-up than you can from an entire book sometimes.
Along these lines I feel I should pass on one more
piece of advice; don't forget to relax and HAVE FUN.
This is an amazingly fulfilling hobby, don't take it
so seriously that you can't enjoy it.
Alan
