Re: [APML] Hyper times...
Jim and Bobby,
Thanks for the info, I will be putting a list together from the archives
shortly and I will give the URL at that time... I used to do 2415 and no
other, but alas, I think I am going to sell off my Hyper Chamber and go
CCD... I got quite carried away with Hypering back 10 years ago, and ended
up with a full sized welding cylinder of forming gas... Used most of it
too... :) I live in Oregon and it rains a LOT here, so 95% of the time I
was testing... I still have the Densitometers, Vac pumps, and my homebrew
Hyper chamber... See December 1989 S&T for a photo of it. It's a bit
larger than the Lumacon version, in fact you can put 3 or 4 of the 300
chambers inside this one... :)
If you do look up the picture the gauge is 2 inch diameter... Anyway, I
will be starting over again, and am now doing all the homework to catch up
and get going under CCD and not film this time. But I will use the chamber
one or two more times before selling it off...
Thanks to both of you for the information, and it's good to see Hypering is
not dead!
Dave
