Hello Dave. There seems to be two "hot" color films for astrophotography
right now; both Kodak films.
Royal Gold 200 and LE (law enforcement) 400. You can get the LE from:

I think the RG 200 is easier to get.
RG200. Reports of 2 hours on the open reel have been given if I remember
correctly. You might want to browse the archives to check me on that. I've
done it only once for RG200 in the cassette for 5 hours and results looked
good although I have done no densitometer testing. My in-cassette hyper
times for LE 400 are densitometer tested to be peak performance with a hyper
time of 6 hours. These times are for 50 deg at 4 PSI with a low-vac
dessication of 4 hours.
