[APML] NGC 2392 revisited

A Happy New Year to all of you!

I finally got around to processing some shots of NGC2392 taken back in
October, using Fuji Provia 100F @ f/11 on my 12"SCT. The best 3 of 5 images
were stacked in RegiStar, processed in Photoshop 6, and touched up with
Bgsmooth.

The results were much better than my previous image of this object from
early 2001, and a few days ago I showed the results to my friend and fellow
APML'er Sean Walker. Since the noise level in the image was reasonably low
(for film), he asked for the original RegiStar tiff file so he could try his
hand at deconvoluting it with MaxIm DL. This helped pull out even more
detail --- we have both tried our hand at film image manipulation with MaxIm
DL in the past but this is a particularly interesting result, I think. I did
feel the need however, to "soften" the result somewhat by cloning in my
Photoshop version at about 20%.
