What I meant was that the S20xi (and the S20) are the "new and improved"
versions of the first generation Photosmart.

As far as the differences between the S20xi and the S20, I suspect it has
to do with what is bundled with the scanner (Microsft Picture It! vs.
Ulead's
PhotoImpact .. or something like that).  There might be additional minor
differences in the bundles that I am unaware of, but I do believe that the
scanners are exactly the same.

What is improved about it? (I have an earlier photosmart, I think its
just an s-20)
