Acer Scanwit, it can generate 12 bit output and this is often how dynamic range
is specked:

DMax of 3.6 is 12 bits or (log10(2^12) = 3.6

The box claims a Dmax of 3.2

I would not trust the specs in any of these things, who knows how they measure
it..
