Re: [APML] OAG for Newtonian tube with JMI focuser

Herm
The  way it was described to me is:
The st-5c or my Pentax 35mm will mount directly to it.
the 35mm camera and CCD are easy  fits.
I will use my existing camera adapter to attach it to the focuser.
using the prime or eyepiece mode sections.
As I am writing this I am looking at the versa-port flippers , they seem
to be a great device for this type of wotk as well.
Too many choices :)

The Spectra OAG uses female and male T-adapter threads, how would you mate it
with a newtonian focuser?, how would you rotate the camera to compose the shot
without having to refocus?.

It seems to me the Lumicon Newt guider is a better solution. I may be wrong, I
have never used the Spectra OAG.
