[APML] suggestion for film for eclipse

Hi all! I'm looking for comments for film to use for the upcoming eclipse
on Jan20/21. Right now, I'm thinking Velvia or Elitechrome100 or 200 EC. I
hope to get a halfway decent image, which will then be made into a
Cibachrome for my wall :-) Given the leisurely rate, I can bracket,
increasing chances for a keeper or two. Reasons for my choices above:
sharp, saturated, (low)grain. I must admit I have no direct experience
using any of the above. FWIW, I plan to shoot through an 8" Celestron SCT,
using two OM-1n bodies swapped as film is used.

Guidance in terms of exposure is also most helpful; I suppose I can meter
via the viewfinder needle or no?

I'm in Southern California, Riverside/San Bernardino area if anyone here
is local. Thanks in advance,
