Re: [APML] film types
Saving film is a practicle idea and I split rolls in half many times the
last
2 years. But this introduces several opportunities for Mr. Murphy (of law
fame)
to pop in and do his dirty work. So I have forgotten about the worthy
endevor
of being thrifty with film.
Now I shoot what I want or can on a full roll (my choice is hypered PJ 400)
and forget about any film saving measures. And since hypered film needs fast
processing I have taken rolls to be done with only 2 shots.
Good astrophotos are rare and there are enough variables that will get you
already without chancing more. $4 a roll for PJ 400 or even $7 for E200
is worth it to ensure 1 less opportunity for old Murphy.
My 2 cents worth.
