   Yes and no.  Depends on how you mount it.  Peter Ceravolo has an elegant 
reflecting guide scope for his Mak-Newt.  The two tubes are mounted as one 
and to find a guide star, you simple move the primary mirror of the guiding 
scope around as if you were collimating it.  Works very well and gives a wide 
latitude of guiding stars.  The setup that I saw had an HD145 with an 80mm 
guiding reflector, both of comparable focal length.  Flexure was not a 
problem.
