[APML]: Possible supernova alert
Hi there:
Today Sun, 22 Feb 1998 at 14:31:54 CST, Víctor R. Ruiz <rvr@idecnet.com>
reports the following alert on <astronomia@dis.ulpgc.es>, my Spanish
mailing list. I am passing the message literally to the lists I am
subscribed to because I haven't seen any notice anywhere else. I don't
know if this is common in the lists and if it is not, my apologies in
advance.
Mr. Ruiz says:
Through VSNET list there is an incoming supernova alert in the galaxy
NGC 4478 near M87. The possible discoverer is R. Tut Campbell, from
Arkansas Tech University.
AR: 12h 30' 19.820"
Dec: +12° 19' 26.030" (J2000)

Good luck and clear skies!
