[APML]: Re: st-4 report-lx 200

Many thanks to all with suggestions for my questions about the st-4 and
my
  lx200
over the last month. My last round of photos were mostly well-guided. Let
  me take
a minute to report what I did which got me straightened out. I guide
  off-axis with a GEG.

  1) started using a screw-in focal reducer which took my guiding FL from
  2800mm to 1100mm.
  2) incresaed my Ca1 time from 3 or 4 to 7; and my Ca2 time from 4 & 5 to
  9.
  3) made very careful tweaks with my focusing to insure I had the highest
  br readings.

  Now one more question:
I am getting over-corrections in RA during guiding; that is, my RA
  correction readouts
  run along the order of something like this: 4, -6, 5, 0, -E, 3, -3,
  5,-2,
3, -6....pretty much back and forth.
Do I need to turn down the Ca1 setting a notch or two, or is it something
else? My PEC is in good shape.

  Thanks again,
  Bobby Midleton
