I would say that you will have a flexure problem with your setup. The 
setup I'm using is a Losmandy D plate onto of the AP rings than a DCM to 
hold the camera body and 1 DR 125 ring to hold the lens steady. This 
setup is a rock solid as it gets. The negatives are weight and not being 
able to rotate the camera to compose the photo differently.

Retail for all this is $280 but usually about 30% off this price.
