RE: [APML]: Cleaning Deep Sky Filter

Hi Mike,

(1) Spittle is the substance that is emitted from one's mouth. As in the
phrase, "I was so mad I could spit!"

(2) I don't know how to remove the locking ring, I have never had to
do this with my deep sky filter.

(3) I have cleaned mine with a 25% iso alocohol and 75% water
solution with good results. You need to take extra care not
to scratch the coating. Use a very soft lense tissue soaked in
the solution and then blott dry the surface quickly to avoid
streaking. I have heard that adding a drop of dish washing
liquid will prevent the streaking, but I have never tried it.
