I was just watching the first episode of Lost In Space (I just got the SciFi channel) and I saw that they used a shot of the Trifid Nebula (briefly) and one of the best shots (B/W) I've seen, short of the Hubble, of the Eagle nebula (also B/W) for backdrops.
